Shoulder Joint Replacement

In cases of advanced degenerative changes or traumatic injuries to the shoulder joint, the implantation of an artificial shoulder joint may be the only remaining treatment option. This primarily applies to shoulder osteoarthritis and irreparable rotator cuff damage (cuff tear arthropathy). When conservative treatment is no longer sufficient, patients often experience increasing restrictions in movement over time—sometimes leading to complete frozen shoulder.

The goal of joint replacement is to reduce pain and restore shoulder function. At the Procelsio Clinic, we offer a selection of high-quality implant systems. The decision to proceed with joint replacement—and the specific type of prosthesis used—is always made individually, based on the structural changes already present.

Patient Experience – Shoulder

“My shoulder surgery was three years ago. I became pain-free again quite quickly and have absolutely no limitations in movement. Based on this outcome, I can highly recommend the clinic—especially due to the very friendly and attentive care.”
